What is a Mummy MOT?
The Mummy MOT is a specialist postnatal assessment designed to support recovery after pregnancy and childbirth.
At The Osteopathic Hub in Cirencester, this detailed check is carried out by a trained practitioner and focuses on how your body is healing following both vaginal and caesarean births.
Pregnancy and birth can affect the pelvic floor, abdominal muscles, posture and overall movement. A Mummy MOT helps identify areas of weakness, imbalance or strain and provides personalised treatment, guidance and exercises to support safe recovery and long-term wellbeing.
The assessment is suitable from around 6–8 weeks post-birth, but many women also benefit months or even years later if they continue to experience symptoms.
Our approach is supportive, practical and tailored to your stage of recovery and lifestyle.
